River Stage Data -- Real-time and Historic - Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District Current Hydrologic Stage Data Water resources information available includes near real-time and historical stage data, collected by 50-plus automated gage data-collection-platforms (DCP's) located throughout the New Orleans District. These gages record hourly readings, and the data is collected via satelite up-link approximately every four hours. In addition, there are 140-plus gages that record daily (0800) stage data. This data is collected manually, on approximately a monthly basis. The data is provided as both graphics and text files, either of which may be displayed by your 'browser' or downloaded for further analysis. To access stage data: - click on Map in area of interest to zoom-in and see actual gage locations - or, click on River Basin links to see gage's located within those areas - then continue to click to 'drill down' to stage data at the selected site Data is available for the following basins: Atchafalaya Basin Calcasieu River/Mermentau Basin Mississippi River Basin Lake Pontchartrain Basin Bayou Teche/VermilionRiver Basin Bayou LaFourche/Bayou Barataria Basin Note: In order to make current data available as soon as possible, UNEDITED real-time data is used. All data contained herein is preliminary in nature and therefore subject to change.
